NSA Ajit Doval had video call with Wang Yi before China began disengagement

After nearly two month of tensions across the Line of Actual Control, the Indian and Chinese troops today began disengagement in a phased manner. Before the disengagement began, the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, over video call. The two held talks with focus on “full and enduring restoration of peace and tranquillity” along the Line of Actual Control.
