Number of divorce cases maximum in UP and Kerala

Uttar Pradesh and Kerala have highest number of divorce cases pending in the courts, according to the ministry of law. Among 7,13,511 divorce cases, 2,64,409 are pending in Uttar Pradesh family court, which is nearly 38 percent of the total pendency. Kerala slips from top to the second position after the UP and with 46,735 pending divorce cases, Bihar stands third in this list.
