Odisha authorities begin culling of chicken after Bird Flu detected in city

The authorities in Odisha have started the culling of chicken a day after bird flu was detected in the city. It started in the poultry farm of the University of Agriculture and Technology on Tuesday. The culling began around 1:00 pm by a special team under the direct supervision of the Chief District Veterinary Officer, Khurda. The area within one km of the infected site was declared the "Infected Zone".
