Europa, the 4th-biggest moon which orbits gas giant Jupiter, has a salty, liquid ocean just underneath its icy layer and thus, may well contain the ingredients required for life. A new study has recently discovered Europa's surface has plenty of sodium chloride - table salt - and the findings suggest the hidden ocean beneath Europa's ice layer perhaps more similar to Earth's oceans than scientists earlier believed.
