Only 5% of Coronavirus affected patients needs hospitalisation: ICMR DG

ICMR DG Balram Bhargava has said will not do discriminate testing for Covid-19, the strategy will be to test only those who show symptoms. He stressed the importance of isolating those who have come from abroad to curb the spread of virus. He adds-only 5% of those affected by coronavirus will need hospitalisation. The central govt has recommended the maximum charges for each Covid-19 test by private labs should not exceed Rs 4500.
