Over 14.2 kg of Pangolin scales seized in Odisha's Dhenkanal

More than 14.2 kg of pangolin scales were seized by a joint team of Odisha forest and Wildlife Crime Control Bureau of Jabalpur from two people in the Dhenkanal district. This was the biggest-ever seizure of pangolin scales in Odisha. Dhenkanal divisional forest officer Prakash Chand Gogineni said his team posed as customers and struck a deal with the smugglers to arrest them. The smugglers stored the Pangolin skin at a godown.
