Over 28 lakh samples tested for Covid-19 in India so far: ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research said on Saturday that India has tested more than 28 lakhs samples for the novel coronavirus across the country so far. As many as 1,15,364 samples have been tested for the viral infection in the last 24 hours. A total of 28,34,798 samples of coronavirus have been tested so far. According to the ministry of health, coronavirus recovery rate has improved to 41.4 per cent in the country.
