According to the reports and police sources, more than 400 Myanmar nationals have crossed into India since late February at a time when the junta government has imposed an emergency. Most of the Myanmar nationals who have crossed into India are policemen who are seeking refuge in India, fearing persecution for disobeying the orders of the junta government. Most of them are entering Mizoram from Myanmar.
