Oxford-Astrazeneca Covid vaccine approved for import by Bangladesh drug regulator

Bangladesh drug regulator Directorate General of Drug Administration has approved the import of the Covid vaccine developed by the University of Oxford in partnership with AstraZeneca and Pune-based Serum Institute. Bangladeshi pharma firm Beximco Pharmaceuticals will import the vaccine. "Bangladesh signed an agreement to buy 30 million doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine," said Ayub Hossain, a spokesperson of DGDA.
