According to some anonymous sources, the Imran Khan government in Pakistan is looking to make amendments in the Army Act and let Kulbushan Jadhav appeal against his conviction in a civilian court. If the act is modified, it would allow Kulbhushan Jadhav to appeal against his conviction on charges of espionage before a civilian court. Kulbhushan Jadhav was convicted by a military court in Pakistan and sentenced to death in 2017.
