Panama’s consul to Bogota Telma Deleise Barria Pinzon, her husband and another family member lost their lives after their car was swept away by a river that was overflowing due to heavy rains in the rural southwest of Colombia. 60-year-old diplomat Barria, her husband and fellow diplomat Pedro Cantillo were crossing the Frio river in an official vehicle along with 2 other people when the incident took place.
