'Paying taxes goes against God's will' said a family & now asked to pay USD 1.4 million bill

A Christian family appeared in the Supreme Court of Tasmania, argued that paying taxes goes against God's will and now they have been asked to pay a whopping USD 1.4 million (AUS$2.3 million) to cover their bill. They failed to pay an estimated US$650,000 (AUS $930,000) in income tax and other charges in 2017. The family's 2.44-hectare property got seized in 2017 and was sold for US$84,000 (AUS $120,000).
