Pepsico withdraws case against 4 Indian farmers

Pepsico had earlier sued 4 Indian farmers accusing them of growing potatoes FC-5 that was exclusive to the company for Lays chips. Pepsico had sued 5 more farmers besides these 4 farmers. Now, after discussing with the government, the company agreed to withdraw the cases against the farmers. This decision came after an influential Hindu nationalist group that is close to PM, accused the company of coercing the farmers.
