Coronavirus is not the only problem the world is facing, as pollution is also a menace. Giving proof of the same is researchers who witnessed deposits of industrial compounds and pesticides in the snow atop ice flows in Arctic's Norwegian archipelago Svalbard. Presently, ice caps and glaciers cover over 56 percent of the archipelago. The environment here is often called 'pristine as it has been minimally affected by local pollution.
