PETA asks Indian health ministry to stop vaccine tests on monkeys

Amid rising number of coronavirus cases across India and including Maharashtra, the state officials had asked experts to conduct vaccine tests on monkeys and the the instruction has not been taken well by the PETA, organisation that are concerned over the animal welfare. Expressing displeasure over the decision, PETA has written to the Indian Health Ministry and ICMR to change the decision and save monkeys.
