PM Modi Thanks Gulf Nation after 250 Indians who were jailed in Bahrain now pardoned

On Sunday, 250 Indians serving sentences in the Gulf country were pardoned by the Bahrain government during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden visit. The PM expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the Royal Pardon to the Bahrain management. According to official data, 8,189 Indians are lodged in overseas prisons, with Saudi Arabia having the largest amount at 1,811, followed by the UAE at 1,392.
