At a grand ceremony at the Vatican City Pope Francis declared Kerala nun Mariam Thresia and four others as Saints. Mariam Thresia founded Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family in Thrissur. The event had latin hymn and five new Saint portraits were hung from Saint Peter’s Basilica too. People gathered there in large numbers.
