Post demonetization, ₹21.54 crore of fake money seized in the country

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir has declared in the Lok Sabha today that post demonetization, the amount of counterfeit money seized was of ₹21.54 crore. He had also added that according to the intelligence network Pakistan has been a part of counterfeiting money in India, but there’s no proof of that. New Delhi accounted for the maximum amount of illegal money followed by Gujarat and UP.
