NASA researchers have said asteroid Bennu has a chance of hitting the Earth while classifying it as a potentially hazardous object. The asteroid is located over 100 million miles from Earth and is about 1,650 feet wide. The asteroid was observed for nearly two years by OSIRIS-REx, a NASA spacecraft. Davide Farnocchia, a scientist with the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies, said "the impact probability overall is very small".
