Pranab Mukherjee: India should aim of becoming USD 5-trillion economy

As per former president, the government’s ambitious target of becoming a USD 5-trillion economy by year 2024-25 is only possible with the help of prudent fiscal management. He further emphasized on the fact that GST needed more clarity and would lead to GDP slowdown if not attended properly. To further strengthen the economy banks have decided to cut interest rates which would lead to lower EMIs for home, auto and other loans.
