Why Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Baby Boy doesn't have royal title?

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle introduced their first child to the world recently & he is named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. But unlike all his famous cousins, he doesn't hold a royal title. They have chosen not to use the title as they want a normal life for him. The baby was not eligible for a princely title due to the 1917 Letters Patent. The baby can receive a title only if Queen Elizabeth II issues one.
