Priyam Chatterjee: 1st Indian chef to win French honor for reinventing Indian gastronomy

Indian chef Priyam Chatterjee has been awarded 'Chevalier de l'Ordre du Merite Agricoleto' by the French government for his contribution in the changing gastronomic scene of India. Chatterjee is known for his twists in the dishes from his native West Bengal, India. During his stint in Park Hyatt, he realized his love for French cuisine. He is currently the head chef at Jaan restaurant Yacht in France.
