The lawyers in Hong Kong are concerned over a government proposal that aims to bring in a law that could bar anyone from leaving the city. The Hong Kong Bar Association (HKBA) has submitted a letter to the legislative council on Friday expressing its concerns over the proposed law. Under the proposed law, any individual, whether a Hong Kong resident or not, could be barred from travelling out of the city.
