The prisoners of central jail in Srinagar have been protesting over the shifting of some of the inmates out of the Kashmir valley and also over the construction of new barracks. The officials informed that the angry inmates on Thursday put a temporary shelter on fire, but no casualties or injuries were reported. Police said that the prisoners also tried to come to the outer cordon of the prison.
