Pulitzer winning Indian-American physician becomes member of NYC economic recovery commission

Siddhartha Mukherjee, an Indian-origin and Pulitzer winning physician has been chosen as a member of the New York city economic recovery forum by the NYC governor Andrew Cuomo. Compatriot higher-education leader Satish Tripathi has also been chosen in the commission. NYC has been hugely hit by the novel Coronavirus and without much help from the Federal government, the road to recovery will not be smooth.
