Pune Hoteliers claimed Rs 10 crore dues pending for using city's hotels as quarantine facilities

The hoteliers in Pune have sought the state govt's mediation over the release of payment for hotels which were used to quarantine COVID-19 medical staff & patients in April. As per the PHA, the total amount due is Rs 10 crores for 24 hotels used & they have recorded their grievances with district collector Rajesh Deshmukh seeking the compensation. PHA president Kohli says they are hurt at the use and throw policy of the govt.
