Puri Beach to become Asia's first Blue flag certified beach

Odisha's Puri beach will become Asia's first beach to be Blue Flag certified. Environment-friendly beaches that are equipped with international standard of amenities receive the Blue flag certification by the Federation of Environment Education (FEE). Apart from Puri beach, 13 other beaches in India will receive environment-friendly resources to transform and be eligible for the Blue Flag certification.
