In a bid to send a strong message to China and counter its expansionist policies, the QUAD countries have kickstarted the 25th edition of the Malabar 21 exercise in the Philippines Sea. “The aim of the exercise is to increase interoperability amongst the participating navies, develop common understanding and SOPs for Maritime Security Operations,” the Indian Navy said. The exercise will include all three domains of maritime warfare.
