Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict AG Perarivalan has been granted a 30-day leave by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. The CM granted him bail after a request by the convict's mother, Arputhammal. Arputhammal requested for leave on two grounds- first was the Coronavirus risk faced by Perarivalan and second, the convict has an unaddressed medical issue for which he requires medical treatment.
