Rakhi delivered to France instead of London, Firm to pay up Rs 25,000 fine

A Bengaluru based courier firm DTDC Express Ltd and its Mohali franchisee have to pay Rs 25,000 fine for a goof up in the delivery. The package with a Rakhi in it, was to be delivered in London but landed in France. The sender said it has caused mental agony and the courier firm now has to pay Rs 20,000 for that. Along with that they need to refund Rs 1,050 paid by the complainants and Rs 5,000 as litigation cost.
