Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2002 rape case of two women followers. Both sides were given 10 minutes to present their arguments. The 'guru' was seen pleading with teary eyes and folded hands. Authorities are on high alert in Punjab and Haryana, as the Dera chief’s followers went on the violence that left 38 dead after his conviction of Friday.
