RBI reports complaints over digital transactions rise by 28%

Acc to the latest data of RBI, rise in no of complaints about digital transaction accounted for 28% during 2017-2018. ATM & debit card related complaints witnessed 50% rise while credit card related complaints stood at 7.7% & online banking issues at 5.2%. 24,672 complaints filed for issues around debit card & ATMs. 12,647 complaints on credit card issues related to wrong billing & delayed reporting of credit card status.
