RBI to Issue New Rs 50 Notes Soon

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced circulation of new currency denomination of Rs. 50 banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi(New) Series. The notes are pale turquoise in color. They bear the signature of RBI Governor Urjit Patel. The announcement came after images of the new note started doing the rounds on social media.
