In an interview with BBC, ex-RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan told why he didn't apply for a top job in Bank of England & indicated the political challenges by Brexit behind it. Rajan told BBC -"It’s best a country has someone who understands the political situation within that country & knows how to navigate that. It’s obvious I’m an outsider & I have very little understanding of the deep ebbs & flows of politics in that country.”
