Record-breaking heatwave, Russia witnessing its hottest winter!

Siberia is witnessing a heat-eave and part of it has become warmer than Washington DC. Some places in Siberia have recorded abnormally hot weather with the temperature reaching 45-46 degrees above normal. The warmer weather in Russia and Siberia is causing repercussions in the Arctic ecosystems. There has been a large Siberian wildfire and the snow cover on the Kara Sea and in other areas have plummeted faster than usual.
