Researchers have unearthed the preserved remains of a 39-foot long whale in Thailand. The remains suggest that the whale is almost 5,000 years old. The partially-fossilized bones of the whale were found 7.5 miles from the coast in Samut Sakhon, west of Bangkok. The bones belong to a Bryde's whale that can grow up to 28 tons in weight. Mammal researcher Marcus Chua of the National University of Singapore called it a 'rare' find.
