Remains of USS Juneau found off coast of Solomon Islands

An expedition funded by Microsoft in the South Pacific ocean has discovered the famous US warship that was attacked by Japanese during the second world war. The remains of the USS Juneau have been located by the search team of Paul Allen near the Solomon Islands that was sunk in November 1942 claiming 687 lives. People who died included the five Sullivans brothers who became navy heroes and after whom a destroyer was named.
