India's Population Grew at 1.2% between 2010-2019 higher than the global average

In 2010-2019, India's population grew at 1.2%, which is higher than the global average of 1.1% a year but more than double China's 0.5% a year as per reports. India must prepare for its growing population by understanding the dynamics & ensuring young people are well educated, healthy; contribute to society & help grow an economy. Maternal deaths declined by 40% & India moved from a targeted approach to family planning services.
