According to a report by the New York Times, handling coronavirus disease became even more difficult after it went through a certain mutation in the starting days of its outbreak. “The mutation, known as 614G, was first spotted in eastern China in January and then spread quickly throughout Europe and New York City,” says the report. It further states that the mutation took over all other mutations across the world within months.
