Report says, online video consumption has increased 5 times

Consumption of online video content grew 5 times in the country in 2017. It is all because of affordable data plans due to which people stick to watching videos online. Star India’s streaming platform Hotstar India found that 96% watch time on their platform is from 20 minutes long videos. An increase in the watch time has been observed in the cities with population ranging from 1 lakh to 10 lakh in population.
