Report suggest that UP's Yamuna expressway witnessed 'Highest ever' deaths on road in 2019

The 165 km long Yamuna expressway that connects Delhi to Agra has seen the most number of deaths on the road this year, where the death toll reached to 150. This is the maximum number of deaths seen by the expressway since it became operational in 2012. According to the data obtained via the RTI by Agra-based lawyer Krishna Chand Jain, the expressway has witnessed 357 accidents resulting in 822 injuries and 145 deaths.
