According to the latest research, four out of five patients admitted to hospitals due to coronavirus disease, suffer neurologic symptoms such as muscle pain, headaches, confusion, dizziness and the loss of smell or taste. One of the authors, Igor Koralnik who is the chief of neuro-infectious disease at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago said the most severe condition among all the neurologic symptoms was encephalopathy.
