Researchers discover river that was lost nearly 172,000 years ago

Researchers from The Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Germany, Anna University in Tamil Nadu, and IISER Kolkata have discovered a river that was lost some 172,000 years ago near Bikaner in Rajasthan. According to the evidence, the river ran through the central Thar Desert. The discovery could be important and can lead to other findings on the lives of a long lost civilization centuries ago.
