Researchers have unearthed fossilised footprints in New Mexico that indicate that early humans lived across North America around 23,000 years ago. Seeds stuck in the footprints were analysed by the scientists at the US Geological Survey for determining the approximate age. The approximate age was found to be between 22,800 and 21,130 years. Researchers found the 1st footprints in a dry lake bed in White Sands National Park in 2009.
