Revolutionary studies about newborn with brain injuries began in India

Experts of the UK and India have started working on the largest study on newborns with brain injuries in India. This is a revolutionary effort to combat epilepsy and the project is called Prevention of Epilepsy by Reducing Neonatal Encephalopathy. Brain injuries during childbirth when the oxygen is cut off to the brain is one of the main reasons behind epilepsy. The 2-years long project has a budget of 3.5 million pounds.
