The United Nations Security Council 1267 sanctions committee has given its nod for monthly “basic expenses” of Rs 1.5 lakh to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks conspirator and LeT commander Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi. Lakhvi was designated as a global terrorist by the UN under the United Nations Security Council Resolution after the deadly terrorist attacks in 2008. He is the operations commander of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.
