RTI revealed govt made Rs 15.50 crore in 2018-19 from just NEET counselling

In reply to an RTI, it is revealed that the Central government earned Rs 15.50 crore in 2018-19 from counseling for the NEET for admissions in medical colleges in India. The exam is held for admission to MBBS, BDS and other such courses in medical colleges and those who clear this entrance test are then called for counseling for which the MCC has started taking a registration fee of Rs 1,000 in 2018-19.
