Russia invites AstraZeneca to combine its drug with Sputnik V after the former accepts manufacturing error

After AstraZeneca accepted a manufacturing error in its coronavirus vaccine, Russian coronavirus vaccine developers asked AstraZeneca to combine its vaccine with Sputnik V in order to boost its efficacy. A manufacturing error was accepted by AstraZeneca a few days after it said the late-stage trials of its coronavirus vaccine were "highly effective'' in preventing disease. Russia claimed that Sputnik V vaccine is 92% effective.
