Russian ex-policeman convicted for 56 murders including 22 women

Mikhail Popkov, one of Russia's most prolific serial killer, who is already serving a life sentence for killing 22 women has been convicted for killing 56 people. According to the prosecutor, Popkov is pathologically attracted toward killing people. In the case of 10 of his victims, he raped them before killing. He used to offer a lift to the people in his police car when he was off-duty before killing them.
