SAARC foreign ministers meet cancelled after Pakistan sought Taliban representation

The meeting of foreign ministers of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday in New York, has been cancelled. As per the reports, Pakistan insisted to include the Taliban as representatives from Afghanistan in the meet but the proposal was opposed by other members including India. India has not recognised the Taliban government yet.
